Philanthropy Poem

Kindness and love are things that are needed by all living beings
Without kindness and love, our lives would be empty and desperate
We all have a duty in the world
To care for and love the ones who need us the most
Love always reaches out and touches the soul of others
Like a baby crying for its mother
People cry out for help
We are all God's children
We are all obligated to set the example He gave for us
To love one another.

Wal-Mart Parking Lot

I taste the sweet smell of rain, while the warm sun is soaking into my skin. This is just a typical day of summer in Batesville, Arkansas. Little children running around barefoot causing trouble and crying that they want to go swim. The sweet smell of honeysuckles fills my nostrils in a wonderful delight. Cars speeding by makes it feel as if I'm at the speed way. The bread bakery is just a few blocks away and my mouth is watering by the smell of the warm bread being baked in the hot steamy oven. Bet you can't guess where I'm talking about, okay, give up yet? It's Wal-Mart parking lot! (:

I am funny and loveable
I wonder what I'll be in 15 years
I hear the continuous sound of the air conditioner
I see myself at the Country Club
I want a pet monkey
I am funny and loveable

I pretend I am not afraid
I feel like I am a bird, flying through life
I touch my favorite song on the radio
I worry about my friends
I cry when I get upset
I am funny and loveable

I understand life is rough
I say the truth
I dream that everybody finds God
I try my best at the things I do
I hope I can be the very best
I am funny and loveable
